FORECAST DISCUSSION:
We will see below average temperatures on Sunday. Highs will struggle to hit the 40 degree mark. Winds gusts will stay breezy exceeding 30 mph at times. This will make the wind chill stay in the 20s all day. Flurries are expected to end by the middle of the morning through the early part of the afternoon. Skies will otherwise remain mostly cloudy for the majority of the day. A few areas of clearing clouds will arrive by the afternoon.
Overnight the cloud cover will continue to clear out. Temperatures will drop below the freezing point and into the upper 20s for most of central Ohio. Winds will start to calm down a little, but will still be coming in from the west at 10-15 mph. By sunrise tomorrow skies are expected to be completely clear.
Monday will start a warming trend going into the new work week. With plenty of sunshine temperatures will return to the low 50s for the day time high. Tuesday will bring a few more clouds, but a ridge in the jet stream will help pump up temps into the 60s by the afternoon. Clouds will increase as the week progresses, and eventually rain chances will return to central Ohio as early as Thursday afternoon.
