Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed the 'double engine government' in Uttar Pradesh, transforming Azamgarh, a district in the eastern part of the state, into a shining star for development. Modi addressed a rally in Azamgarh, which was once seen as a family bastion of Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, and said that the area is now a shining star for the country. He also took a dig at previous governments at the Centre and Uttar Pradesh, stating that development projects launched by him should not be seen through the prism of elections.
