In due time, there will likely be plenty of ink spilled about all that went on behind the scenes during Mac Jones’ tenure with the New England Patriots. While some of it felt a little inflated, it’s still a little jarring to see a player who was once an Offensive Rookie of the Year finalist flame out as a starting quarterback so spectacularly. As such, news of his official trade to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday morning was unsurprising and inevitable.
