"A US judge has found that it had been wrongly stated that 2500 homes had already been built as part of a project associated with the loss-making Trump International Golf Club in Aberdeen. But there was planning permission to build only 500 and no development had taken place," Williams wrote for The Herald.
"According to a judge’s civil fraud case findings of fact at one point the Trump organisation had valued the 2500-home development at £83,164 when an appraisal it received placed it at less than half that. That put the value of the undeveloped Aberdeen land at £207.9m."
It’s pretty brazen fraud from the former president and it explains why he was hit with such an expensive judgment.

Rebecca Priestley, a confidante and former advisor to the duchess from 2011 to 2017, said Middleton "listen and learn" when carrying out her royal duties. She also makes sure that she's knowledgeable about the events and charities she's attending before making an engagement.
"She was aware she wasn’t an expert in any one field and she wanted to educate herself first, then shine a spotlight where needed," Priestley said. "It was a ‘listen and learn’ approach rather than immediately becoming a patron of a charity. We did a lot of under-the-radar visits before the public engagements."

The Duchess of Cambridge is not confident with her potentials, but her husband, Prince William, always speaks with pride about her, according to Tominey. The Duke of Cambridge is happy that his better half has found her groove and popularity with the public. Middleton has also helped the future king prepare for his role in the monarchy.
"She has been a hugely important factor in him coming to terms with his destiny, how comfortable he has become with his role in the royal family as future monarch and the demands of that," a royal source said.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge complement each other. And although they are not as tactile as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their public outings, a body language expert said, they are solid behind closed doors.
Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey that Kate Middleton made her cry. However, another insider alleged that the Duchess of Sussex had a different version of the story.
Meghan Markle Vs. Kate Middleton: Who Made Who Cry?
In December 2018, there were reports claiming that Meghan Markle made her sister Kate Middleton cry during the bridesmaids' dress fitting. The Duchess of Sussex addressed the reports during her interview with Oprah Winfrey for a CBS special in March 2021. Prince Harry's wife denied it saying, "the reverse happened."
According to Markle, something happened and Middleton was so upset that it made her cry. She added that everyone in the palace knew the truth, but no one stood up to defend her.
Meanwhile, an unnamed palace source spoke about the issue with The Sunday Times to commemorate the Duchess of Cambridge's 40th birthday. According to the tipster, they never heard Middleton speak about the issue, only Markle did and she had a different version than what she told Winfrey.
"I’ve had hundreds of hours of conversations with her [Kate] and it never came up," the source said. "I only ever heard from Meghan about that — a very different story from what she said to Oprah."
However, the tipster didn't share what exactly the other version they heard from Markle was.
Meghan Markle's Sister-In-Law Kate Middleton Is A Peacemaker
Several insiders have praised the Duchess of Cambridge for being a peacemaker. When Prince William and Prince Harry reunited at Prince Philip's funeral just over a month after the Sussexes' bombshell interview with Winfrey, royal expert Katie Nicholls said the duchess served as a "peacemaker" between the royal siblings.
"They were very tense as they walked into that chapel," said Nicholls, the author of William and Harry, as quoted by Entertainment Tonight. "It's always been my understanding that behind the scenes, Kate has tried very hard to forge a rapprochement and act as a peacemaker between William and Harry."

She continued, "She loves Harry. She says that she is the sister that he never had. Prince William also reportedly acknowledged the said trait in his wife, The Times reported. The Duke of Cambridge allegedly told a friend that "Catherine is a peacemaker," before adding, "She’s much better than me, she wants everyone to be aligned."

Kate Middleton Allegedly Changes Her Style
Royal commentators noticed, via Express, that the Duchess of Cornwall has changed her style over the last few years and now looks "more serious and professional."
When she went to NatWest's headquarters in London last week, she donned a white Alexander McQueen blazer paired with slim black trousers and dark heels. Royal fashion watchers have seen Kate wear the same blazer before.
However, a royal expert noticed that the blazer and trousers are part of how the future queen consort has changed her style and may have something to do with Meghan.

TikTok user Amanda Matte, who's behind the @matta_of_fact account, revealed Meghan wore the same outfit in 2022, and Kate seemed to be influenced by the former actress' style.
Matte explained that before Meghan joined the royal family upon marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Kate had a different style. "[Kate's] outfit formulas got updated to correspond with how Meghan was dressing when she entered the scene," the social media user pointed out.
She added that Kate "rarely" wore trousers and often sported culottes instead. Though some see Kate's fashion might have been updated due to her more serious role as a senior royal and a princess, Matte seemed to be convinced that it started when Meghan wore an Alexander McQueen suit in 2018.
However, a professional stylist disagreed.
Kate Middleton's Fashion Changes with Her Senior Royal Role
Miranda Holder, a professional stylist and fashion and royalty expert, told Newsweek Kate's style has changed, taking in a "more serious, business-like mood, since she has become the Princess of Wales. Hence, it "reflects the gravitas of her new position within the royal family as she gets nearer to the throne."
She's now keener to wear trousers than skirts and dresses. She also believes that Kate wants people to focus more on her activities instead of the brand she's wearing.

"The fun, feminine, flirty Kate whom we all fell in love with in her polka-dot tea dresses seems to have been replaced by a new, more heavyweight incarnation," Holder explained.
It's also good to note that Kate has been wearing trousers way before Meghan joined the royal family, like during a visit to Alberta in 2011 and an attendance at the 1851 Trust roadshow at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre in 2017.
Prince Andrew recently responded to Virginia Roberts’ claims that he sexually abused her at least three times when she was just a minor. In a statement sent out by his lawyers, the Duke of York accused Roberts of being money-hungry. He also claimed that his accuser is only suing him so that she would get another payday.
Prince Andrew’s statement did not sit well with a lot of people, including women’s rights advocates. Joan Smith, who crusades to end violence against women, slammed the royal for accusing Roberts of being motivated by money.
