I upgraded my balcony with Dollar Tree buys – don’t let the broom handles fool you, it was so easy and affordable
A DIY pro transformed her balcony after shopping at Dollar Tree.
She said the home remodel was easy and cheap, but there was a point where she struggled to make the do-it-yourself project work.
TikToker Trice (@uniquesassyme) renovated her balcony by using solar lights, zip ties, and broom handles from the dollar store.
She used the room handles as the pole, and then slid the solar light into the opening.
Trice said her tip was to a black zip tie to adhere the contraption to her balcony.
“That’s how they look. Those are the zip ties,” she said, showing off the items.
She included a clip of the process, which showed Trice having a difficult time at the beginning.
“And here you see me kind of, like, trying to put it together,” the DIYer said.
“It was a struggle at first, but your girl got it together,” she added.
The more broom and light combinations she created, the faster she became.
Trice waited for night to come and then showed how the balcony looked in the dark.
