Temple Hollowing
Something new to be neurotic about- temple hollowing. Among facial reconstruction people, this is not news.
Just when I thought I’d heard of everything, along comes the esthetic condition of temple hollowing. This condition results from the underlying tissues of the temple thinning to produce a hollowed-out effect. The result is an older, more peanut shaped or skeletal appearance to one’s head.
It is a normal consequence of aging or excessive exercise. By injecting a filler, temple hollowing can be filled in to produce a more youthful appearance. Go to Google Images and search “Temple Hollowing” you’ll find more than enough examples.
Now that I know this I suppose I will see it everywhere. Same for you.
