JBC announce Accident Verification Committee to look at the death of Kazuki Anaguchi
Earlier today the JBC announced the establishment of the “Accident Verification Committee”, with the committee set to investigate and report on the sad passing of Kazuki Anaguchi at the age of 23.
The talented Anaguchi passed away on February 2nd, having been in a coma following his December 26th bout with Seiya Tsutusmi, with the bout being televised globally.
The committee is to include 7 people in total and will look to report on what happened why it happened, and what can be done to prevent recurrence in the future. The committee will be chaired by a lawyer and will consist of medical personnel, media personnel, match officials, and JBC officials.
The plan is for the Committee to hold it's first meeting on March 15th, with reports to be prepared for April 15th.
