Two injured in separate Columbus shootings overnight

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Two people were hospitalized after being shot early Sunday morning in separate shootings in Columbus.

The first shooting occurred at the intersection of Smith Road and Lockbourne Road on the south side just after 2:15 a.m. A police dispatcher said one person was taken to Grant Medical Center and is in stable condition.

Police then responded to reports of a shooting on the east side at the 500 block of Miller Avenue just after 3 a.m. One victim was found and was also taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.

Neither shooting has any suspect information at this time.
