Despite a tough set of fixtures on the cards, Lauren Doran-Barr stated Hibernian are still looking to climb the SWPL table.
The defender spoke to Hibs TV after claiming a 2-0 victory against Partick Thistle at Meadowbank, a win which saw her side move four points ahead of today's opposition in the league.
Doran-Barr was on target to score her second goal of the season, before Poppy Lawson struck to double the lead in the second half.
As a defender, Doran-Barr was delighted to see the Hibees remain solid at the back - whilst also similarly pleased with the team's attacking play.
“We wanted to get the three points and bounce back from last week.
"During the game we were a little bit disappointed with how we played in the first half. We didn’t have enough intensity in the way we played.
"We’ve come out in the second half and got the job done.”

Doran-Barr then went on to say that finishing the season strongly was paramount.
“We reflected and regrouped after the second round of fixtures.
"We’ve set new targets going into the split and we want to take as many points as we possibly can.”
On the next match against Rangers - which is a fortnight away - Doran-Barr said the team will be refreshed and ready to take on the side currently sitting at the top of the SWPL.
“We can take confidence from the performance last week. It’s certainly seventy minutes where we matched them really well.
"We’ll get a little bit of time to rest and recover and some time on the training pitch.
“We’ll go again and we’ll try to get three points.”
