What we learned from 3rd Duq game (a10 tourn)

So definitely better adjustments off pic and roll as duq shut that down.

better spacing on giving DH a site route on perim to pass out of double teams.

pls dont pass ahead to Elvis on delayed break only leads to trouble.

get ball to cheeks on move at top of key and let him create and put shooters on either side or
1 in corner (any of cheeks brea santos).

more plays run to get brea open.
1) elevator screen
2) double screen



DH needs center of gravity lower so he doesnt get pushed out of lane.
Done by not posting DH at 1st but getting him to set high ball screen w cheeks and then roll to lane
w defender hopefully trailing this get him better position for entry pass
if defender sags then pass back to cheeks and have him drive into lane.
dont do pick and roll w DH and elvis - leads to too many TO's.

very key: santos dont pic up early fouls. It feels like in every loss santos has gotten 2 early fouls. (need to check that stat)
make an effort to rebound and box out instead of ball watching.
we also need to make use of shot fakes
and quicker passing.

make foul shots at crucial times.
if UD gets match vs team w a strong guard and 2 or more bigs we will struggle.
