Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys to perform in Troy

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Nick Carter, best known for being a member of the boy band Backstreet Boys, is coming to Troy. He is set to perform at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on November 6 at 7:30 p.m. as part of his "Who I Am" Tour.

Carter's music career started when he was 12 years old and was the youngest member of the Backstreet Boys. Since coming to fame in 1996, the band has released 10 studio albums and has sold over 130 million records worldwide. The band's most well-known songs include "I Want it That Way," "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," and "As Long as You Love Me."

In 2002, Carter started his solo music career and then ventured into television and film in 2004. He's made appearances on "90210," "The Masked Singer," and "Dancing with the Stars." In 2014, Carter and his now wife, Lauren Kitt, starred in the reality series "I Heart Nick Carter."

Tickets go on sale to Troy Music Hall members on Thursday, March 21 at 10 a.m., with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. You can buy tickets on the Troy Music Hall website.
