Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United won their third PSL title after beating Mohammad Rizwan’s Multan Sultans by 2 wickets in a thrilling final-ball finale at the National Stadium in Karachi. Batting first Sultans could only post 159/9 as Imad Wasim’s fifer stole the show. In the second innings, Guptill hit a fifty but Sultans made a great comeback with the ball. However, it was not enough to stop United from becoming the first team with three PSL titles.
