Man arrested by U.S. Marshals in connection with Breaux Bridge drive-by shooting

MIDLAND, Texas (KLFY) -- A Charenton man wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting in Breaux Bridge has been arrested in Texas, authorities said.

Timothy Isom, 40, of Charenton, was arrested March 8 in Midland, Texas by the U.S. Marshal's Office on an outstanding fugitive sought by the Breaux Bridge Police Department. Isom has been charged with one count of principal to attempted second degree murder, police said.

This arrest is the third in connection with the shooting that took place on Feb. 12. Traylon Carter and Azyriah Isom have also been charged with principal to attempted second degree murder, according to Breaux Bridge Police.

Officials said BBPD officers were called to the scene of a drive-by shooting in the 800 block of Lena Drive, where one person was shot. The victim was treated and released from a local hospital.

Currently, Timothy Isom is being held in the Midland County Jail as he awaits extradition back to Breaux Bridge, where he will be booked into the St. Martin Parish Jail.

This case is still under investigation.
