‘Homeless Hero’ on NY ‘right to shelter’ law revisions

NEW YORK (PIX11) -  With New York City’s “right to shelter” laws being revised, nearly 14,000 migrants will now have to find shelter. The law has been edited to where the amount of time a single migrant can stay in a shelter is only up to 30 days. Shams DaBaron, also known as “The Homeless Hero,” joined PIX11 to discuss the right to shelter revisions and what it means for those in need of a place to stay.
