Louisiana OMV unable to process driver's licenses, IDs due to technical issues

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) - The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles announced Thursday they are unable to process driver's licenses and ID card transactions due to technical issues with the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.
OMV officials said the AAMVA is working to fix the issue as quickly as possible.
"We apologize for any inconvenience caused. AAMVA is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and OMV will provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding," OMV said.
