Clear & cold across Central Ohio, rain chances on the way

Good Thursday afternoon!

Even though we are officially in Spring, it certainly doesn't feel like it! Temperatures have fallen after a cold front ran through earlier this week. There is a rebound in numbers before the weekend, but it comes with higher chances for rain.

Temperatures for the rest of today will climb to the upper 30s and lower 40s - a good bit below average for this time of year. Skies will remain fairly clear with some upper level clouds moving around. Overnight, clouds will start to build in with temperatures falling to the upper 20s.

Friday starts off dry, but a low pressure system will slide through in the second half of the day. A warm front slides to our north, bringing in unseasonably warm air. Temperatures will be close to the upper 50s and lower 60s before rain chances begin to climb. Scattered showers will move in by the evening and rain chances pick up overnight when a cold front sweeps through.

Saturday will remain dry with clouds chipping away through the day. Temperatures will be a good bit cooler already, getting up to the mid 40s. The rest of the weekend remains sunny and clear with temperatures already warming to the lower 50s.

A very warm start to next week in the mid 60s, but it won't last very long. Another system brings higher chances for rain by next Tuesday with temperatures falling to the upper 50s by the middle of the week.
