2 dead, 2 hospitalized after overnight crash in Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Two people were killed and another two were hospitalized after a vehicle collision early Thursday morning on Main Street in Buffalo, police officials said.
Police said at around 12:15 a.m., a Dodge Magnum was allegedly traveling north on Main Street near Humboldt Parkway at a high rate of speed when it collided with a Toyota Corolla that was attempting to make a left turn onto Main.
A male driver and female passenger in the Toyota were transported to ECMC, where they later were declared deceased. Another two male passengers in the Toyota were also taken to ECMC, with one listed in critical condition and the other in stable condition, according to police.
Police said the 23-year-old male driving the Dodge was taken into custody and charges against him are being finalized.
The crash remains under investigation.
