Albany man arrested for DWI with children in the car
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man has been arrested following a traffic stop in the area of Clinton Avenue, according to the Albany County Sheriff's Office. Floyd Joseph, 31, is facing multiple charges.
On March 22 at 10:50 a.m., police conducted a vehicle stop near Clinton Avenue and Dove Street for a traffic violation. Police observed signs of impairment from the driver, identified as Joseph, who reportedly refused to take a field sobriety test.
At the time of the stop, three children, ages 10, seven and four, were found within the car without car seats in use or without being properly secured by seatbelts. Following an investigation, officers discovered open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle.
Joseph was then taken into custody and appeared in Albany City Criminal Court on March 22. He was charged with the following offenses:

- Aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle
- Driving while intoxicated
- Three counts of endangering the welfare of a child
- Multiple traffic violations
