Congressman in Prop. 47 overhaul initiative violated campaign finance law, former FEC chair says

The former chair of the FEC has filed a complaint against a California congressman, alleging he excessively used campaign funds to support a "tough on crime" coalition seeking to roll back parts of Proposition 47.
