Bengaluru: After their loss against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2024 opener on Friday, the Royal Challengers reached Bengaluru on Saturday evening ahead of their next game against Punjab Kings on Monday at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium. A clip that is going viral shows the team at the Chennai airport without Virat Kohli. The former RCB captain was not spotted at the airport and that has raised speculations. Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik and the rest were there, but Kohli was missing.

There is no confirmation on his whereabouts and hence we would like to stay away from guessing.

Kohli, who was making a comeback to competitive cricket after a couple of months, scored 21 off 20 balls against CSK.

Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad started his captaincy stint with a win as CSK defeated RCB by six wickets in the IPL 2024 opener on Friday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Bating first, RCB rode on knocks from Faf du Plessis, Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik to put 173/6 in 20 overs. For CSK, Mustafizur Rahman took four wickets.

In reply, CSK started brilliantly with both Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra taking the game away from the opposition. Although RCB pulled the game back with few wickets, but it was Shivam Dube who finished the game with a six and four.
