Off-roaded by caste in the blue mountains

The residents of a village in the Nilgiris refused to allow the State Transport Corporation to extend a

bus service to Koranur, merely two kilometres further. Had it been extended, the service would have allowed around 25 Dalit and Adivasi families an easier access from and to town.
