I found the perfect hack to make your bra invisible in white clothes, I was shocked when I discovered it
A BUSTY fashionista has revealed that she has found the perfect hack to make a bra invisible when wearing white clothes.
Katie, from Inverness, wears an L cup and aims to inspire fellow big-bust babes to embrace the skin they’re in.
And she recently shared some bra hacks to make life a little bit easier for anyone who struggles when wearing one.
Speaking to BBC Social, Katie told how wearing a red bra under a white top is the best way to make it invisible.
The mum added that she was shocked herself to find it works even better than wearing a white bra under a white T-shirt.
But she warned fashionistas to avoid wearing hot pink – as this will shine through while wearing white.
In a video shared on Instagram, Katie said: “Pop quiz! Which of these bras do you think you should wear under a white tee?”
Holding up two different coloured bras, she asked: “White? Or red?”
She then revealed the strap of her bra, which you can’t see under her white top and said: “The answer is red.”
Katie added: “I was shocked too, but it’s actually the most invisible under white.
“Perfect for school or work shirts. Who would have thought?
“Just make sure it’s burgundy or blue tones – stay away from hot pinks.”
Katie’s large-chested community have praised her for her clever tricks as they flocked to the comments.
One person said: “Not all heroes wear capes”.
Another added: “Love this Katie”.
While someone else gushed: “Ahh perfect thank you! I was struggling with my bras!”
The newest tip comes as bosses at Boux Avenue found that 81 per cent of women are wearing the wrong size.
New research from the lingerie brand discovered that over a third (35 per cent) have never had a bra fitted.
This is despite women’s breasts changing shape and size throughout their lifetime.
Experts claim you should have a bra fitting every six to 12 months to ensure you are wearing the right fit and style for your bust.
How to get the right bra for you
HERE are Priya’s bra checks for finding the perfect fit:
UNDERBAND: This is crucial for support.
It should feel seamless against your skin, resting in a straight line.
Now, try to put two fingers under the band – there should be just enough room, leaving you with a perfectly snug fit.
CUPS: You don’t want them too tight, with your boobs bulging over the top or out the side.
And you really don’t want gaping between the cup and the top of your breast.
Neither is a good look under your clothes.
CENTRE FRONT: The wiring that curves up between your breasts should lay flat against your breastbone without any discomfort or rogue wire poking out
Priya Downes, founder and CEO of lingerie brand Nudea, says: “Wearing the right bra is the single most important factor to a woman’s wardrobe, no matter what size.
“If your shoes caused blisters you’d stop wearing them, so why do we find ourselves hanging on to uncomfortable undies?
“If you can’t wait to get home at the end of the day to rip yours off as soon as you walk in the door, chances are that you’re wearing the wrong size.”
