Kerala's ruling Left party, the BJP, has attacked Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for promoting communal division and violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). BJP state chief K Surendran claimed the withdrawal of cases against anti-CAA protestors was taken to appease a particular community and called for the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take stern action.
