Maryland weather: Sunny start to the week, though rain possible during Orioles home opener
A few days of sunshine are expected in the Baltimore area, though chances of showers expected midweek could lead to a wet Orioles opening day Thursday.
Temperatures are forecast to rise from a high of 54 degrees on Sunday to 62 degrees on Tuesday amid sunny weather in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, according to the National Weather Service. A gentle breeze is also expected Sunday, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
A slight chance of rain is forecast for early Wednesday morning, with showers likely after 2 p.m. and a high of 61 degrees. Showers are likely Thursday morning as well, with a chance of rain continuing through the afternoon and evening, possibly hitting Camden Yards during the Orioles’ home opener against the Los Angeles Angels at 3 p.m.
The rain is expected to let up by Friday afternoon to a mostly sunny, breezy day with a high near 65 degrees.
