The BJP announced its decision to contest 13 out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand, with its ally AJSU party fielding a candidate from the Giridih parliamentary constituency. The Lok Sabha elections in Jharkhand will be conducted in four phases on May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1.
