The District Election Officer of Ludhiana, Sakshi Sawhney, issued seven notices to political parties for violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received three notices, while the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) received two notices each. The violations included unauthorized banners and posters lacking printer information, contravening MCC guidelines. The parties have been asked to respond within 24 hours, failing which action proceedings will be initiated. Sawhney emphasized the administration's commitment to fair and transparent Lok Sabha Polls in Ludhiana.
