Amsterdam men jailed following drug investigation

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Nathaniel Edwards and Raymond Wright were convicted after agreeing to a plea deal during the trial. The two were facing charges from an 11-count indictment that stemmed from a drug investigation in 2023.

The two were arrested on warrants for reportedly selling controlled substances to police sources. Law enforcement also seized cocaine, ecstasy pills, and drug paraphernalia while executing a search warrant at an apartment on Jay Street on August 28, 2023.

The two will serve six years in state prison and two years post-release supervision.
