Rain arrived in the Bay Area early Friday and is expected to continue into Saturday.

The updating radar map above shows areas of precipitation in green, with greater intensities indicated by yellow and orange.

A winter storm warning is in effect for the Lake Tahoe area from 11 a.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday.
