The Wheeler Dealers host gave another update today after an X user asked if they had found the motor.
wrote: “Just watched a return of the series 20th-anniversary prog with that Fiests.
“Has it ever been found? #scumbags.”
Hours later, Mike replied: “No.. gutted.”
The 1979 Mk1 Ford Fiesta 1300S went missing from the car park of the hotel where the Wheeler Dealers crew had been staying in June last year.
The car was specially restored to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Wheeler Dealers show.
The project, which cost £11,200, was also meant to commemorate the end of the iconic Ford Hatchback era.
The classic motor was due to be unveiled the day after it was nabbed.
Footage showing the restoration project of the Fiesta did air on the first episode of Wheeler Dealers 18th series on the Discovery Channel in October.
What has Mike Brewer said about the Ford Fiesta?
Shortly after Mike’s precious motor was nicked, the car expert alongside co-host Marc appealed to the public for any information on the whereabouts of the stolen car, in a video posted to X.
They urged the classic car community to “come together” to track it down.
The Wheeler Dealers host also offered £5,000 cash to anyone who could tell him where his beloved Fiesta was, in an interview with the Express.
He added: “I will drop that in a bin, I will send that to a PO BOX, I don’t care how it happens.
“It will be one of those Hollywood movie endings.
“Whatever someone wants me to do, I don’t care.
“I will go into a crowded pub and give someone £5,000 if someone gives me the car.”
In footage from the 2023 series of Wheeler Dealers, Mike and Marc relived the moment they realised the motor had been taken.
Marc said: “We were so proud of it.
“We went to bed in the hotel all excited about the next day when everyone was going to get to see it for the first time.
“And as many of you will now know, we woke up in the morning and it had been stolen.
“And it was heartbreaking.”
His co-host Mike added: “We devoted so much of our time and attention way above what we normally do on a restoration or a build, into this car because we knew how important this car was.
“There’s only four of them left in the country so this was a really important car for us.
“To wake up in the morning and find out it had been stolen was destroying…It destroyed us.”
He continued: “To stand in front of 1,000 people at our one festival we had arranged and tell it to them, announce it to them, there were tears.
“It was really tough.”
