Pedestrian hospitalized after serious North Portland crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A pedestrian is in serious condition after being hit by a car early Monday morning in North Portland, authorities said.

According to Portland police, officers responded to North Interstate Avenue and found the person who was quickly taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A large police presence is still at the scene.
