Syria blast kills Revolutionary Guard senior commander and destroys Iranian consulate building

A SENIOR commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has reportedly been killed in a strike on an embassy.

Mohammad Reza Zahedi has been named by Iranian state TV as the boss who died in the blast.

Horror pics showed the Iranian consulate in Damascus reduced to rubble.

While Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had been killed the ambassador survived.

SkyNews reported an Israeli military spokesperson said: “We do not comment on reports in the foreign media.”
