8-year-old girl dies in Brooklyn: police
EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (PIX11) – An 8-year-old girl was pronounced dead after she was found unconscious in Brooklyn Monday, police said.
The girl was found unresponsive inside 604 Hegeman Ave. in East New York around noon, according to the NYPD. She was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, authorities said.
Police are investigating the girl’s death. The New York City medical examiner’s office will determine her cause of death.
