BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Niagara Falls man was arraigned Thursday in connection with a hit-and-run at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport that injured a pedestrian, the Erie County District Attorney's Office announced.

Officials said 50-year-old Travis Rosario was allegedly driving on an airport loop road around 5 a.m. on Feb. 27 when he struck a pedestrian crossing the road near Genesee Street. Rosario then allegedly left the scene without reporting the incident.

The victim, a 44-year-old Williamsville man, was taken by ambulance to ECMC with a head injury and multiple bone fractures, and later underwent surgery.

Rosario was charged with one count of leaving the scene of incident resulting in serious injury. He is scheduled to return to court on June 7 after being released on his own recognizance and faces a maximum of four years in prison.
