Priyanka Chopra Shines in Strappy Silver Shoes at Cousin Mannara Chopra’s Birthday Bash in Mumbai

Priyanka Chopra and her husband, pop star Nick Jonas, traveled to Mumbai to attend the birthday celebration of Priyanka’s cousin, Mannara Chopra, on Saturday. For the occasion, the “Baywatch” star wore strappy silver sandals, adding a few inches to her stature. The sandals featured thick, shiny metallic silver straps and open toes.

These shoes bore resemblance to the silver Olie Plateau sandals from Aquazzura that the actress wore in October at the 2023 DKMS Gala, a non-profit organization to fight blood cancer, held in New York.

When it comes to footwear, the “Love Again” actress frequently chooses elegant and refined options for her red carpet appearances. Chopra often favors embellished or metallic sandals and pumps from brands such as Casadei, Jimmy Choo and Stuart Weitzman. 

For her more casual ensembles, she tends to opt for flat boots from Dior and Diesel, along with sneakers from Giuseppe Zanotti and Sergio Rossi. Additionally, she has a preference for comfortable shoes like Crocs, clogs, and Gucci slides.

Metallic shoe trend

The prevalent metallic trend seen on runways last year from fashion giants like Tory Burch, Dior, Chanel, Coach, and Jean Paul Gaultier gained traction among celebrities such as Beyonce and Taylor Swift during their global tours and still going strong into 2024. Most recently, Jennifer Hudson donned the trend on the red carpet of the 2024 iHeartRadio Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday. On the same night, actress Hannah Waddingham also was spotted arriving to  “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in metallic gold Christian Louboutin Sandals.
