Strictly Come Dancing star in shock split after three years with model girlfriend saying ‘it just didn’t work out’

A STRICTLY Come Dancing professional has split from his girlfriend after more than three years.

The 40-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing star confirmed the relationship ended a month ago but insisted they are still on good terms.

Gleb Savchenko also added that he “very much still loves” model and reality TV star Elena Belle.

Speaking to Page Six, he said: “Elena and I broke up about a month ago.

“It kind of just happened. People always say life happens and sometimes I think, ‘How did it even happen?’”

Gleb, who went public with Elena in August 2021, continued: “We had been together for almost three years and I had the best time of my life with her. There’s certain things that just didn’t work out.”

Elena, 39, is best known for taking part in Swedish reality show Paradise Hotel in 2005.

She later appeared in Svenska Hollywoodfruar, a reality show which followed glamorous Swedish women living in Hollywood.

Gleb is dad to daughters Olivia and Zlata who he shares with ex-wife Elena Samodanova.

Elena is a choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance? and she and Gleb split in 2020.

“After 14 years of marriage with my deepest sadness our road is coming to the end,” Elena shared alongside a photo of her and Gleb, and a broken-heart emoji.

Gleb added his own statement, sharing: “It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage.”

“We still intend to coparent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them.

Russian-American Gleb quit Strictly in 2016 after just one series and went on to become a pro on the US counterpart Dancing with the Stars.

He said at the time of his exit: “I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the last series of Strictly Come Dancing and especially the way that the UK gave me such a warm welcome but due to family commitments I won’t be returning to the show for the next series – I’ll definitely be tuning in though.”

During his one series Gleb was partnered with TV presenter Anita Rani and they finished in fifth place.

Gleb last appeared on UK TV in 2018 when he won the first series of Celebs on the Farm.
