Man shot near bowling alley at Gulfstream Park shopping mall
A man is in critical condition after a shooting near a bowling alley in the Gulfstream Park shopping mall, police say.
Hallandale Beach Police responded to reports of the shooting about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday “in the area” of the Strike 10 bowling alley, the police department said on X. The bowling alley is located in The Village at Gulfstream Park, the outdoor shopping mall surrounding the horse racing track.
The Hallandale Beach is currently investigating an incident of a shooting in the area of Strike 10. We have determined this to be an isolated incident. One victim has been transported to Aventura Hospital in critical condition. It’s an active investigation and updates to follow.

The victim, an adult man, was taken to Aventura Hospital in critical condition, police said, describing the shooting as an “isolated incident.”
The mall opened as usual at 10 a.m. Wednesday; the bowling alley is scheduled to open at 4 p.m., according to hours posted online.
Police did not identify the victim or say whether the suspect is at large. Detectives are actively investigating.
