FCSO responds to fatal car crash in Perth
PERTH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Fulton County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) responded to a fatal car crash in the Town of Perth on Tuesday around 12:05 p.m. Deputies say Stanley Korona. 89, succumbed to his injuries after being taken to the hospital via helicopter.
Deputies say the crash happened on County Highway 107. A preliminary investigation shows Korona was struck by a car driving straight toward Route 30 as he was turning left into his driveway.
Kronoa was taken to Albany Medical Center via a helicopter where he succumbed to his injuries Tuesday night. The driver in the other car involved was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
