My date was cocky and wanted to guess my weight – he freaked when he learned the truth but I’m juicy & leaning into it
A SINGLE woman went on a weird date, where he took it upon himself to start guessing her weight.
The result wasn’t what he expected, but she embraced her “juicy” figure and owns it to this day.
Kate Lavrentios (@katelavrentios) keeps it real about the misadventures of modern dating.
Amidst the trial and error, there were some funny stories along the way, and she shared an interesting one in a TikTok video.
While on a date with a guy, he randomly said to her that he could “guess anyone’s weight just by looking at them.”
Kate took him up on the challenge and immediately told him to guess hers.
Right off the bat, he was far off with a “confident” guess of 150 lbs.
He tried to redeem himself by going ten pounds up but Kate wasn’t having it.
Once he guessed around 170, she questioned if he was actually as good as he said he was, and said he was “awful at this.”
He started to get nervous and “freaked out” because he realized that she definitely weighed more than him.
The conversation stopped right there.
To some, he might have come across as rude, but many women just thought most men couldn’t figure it out.
“No, because they are always wrong. I was pushing 200lbs and a dude thought I was 150. I haven’t been 150 since I was like 12,” one commented.
“My husband was dumbfounded that I’m almost 200 lbs. I’m 35 weeks pregnant my guy,” an expecting mother added.
When she got home, Kate had to tell her friend about it because it “rattled and upset” her.
Understandably, the whole thing made her feel a certain type of way, but her gal pal reinforced that she was a baddie with a “juicy” bod who should “lean into it.”
Kate couldn’t help but agree and joked that the philosopher Socrates “said the same thing.”
“Kate’s juicy” — Socrates,” a viewer wrote in a comment.
“#literally,” Kate replied.
It was exactly the body positive compliment she needed to boost her confidence and embrace being over 170 pounds.
Several women could relate to Kate’s dating scenario.
“Told a man I weigh 130lbs at five foot nine and he goes ‘You’re still beautiful to me,'” one commented.
“Some guy told me I’d look better if I lost 200lbs and I literally weigh 160. Like what do you mean,” another viewer said.
