Primark drops new version of their viral Stanley cup dupe – it’s pink, a tenner and perfect for spring
THEY got in on the Stanley cup action with a dupe of the beloved vessel earlier this year.
But fans were disappointed that Primark had made their version half the size of an actual Stanley.
So they can breathe a sigh of relief and get their cards out again, after the store announced they were releasing a 40oz cup – the same size as the Stanley.
The news was announced by Primark in Meadowhall in Sheffield, who took to TikTok to share a video of the new cup.
And while the other dupes were plain colours, this one is a pink metallic leopard-print.
“Made from stainless steel, it features a large carry handle and curved straw for convenience, as well as a lid for added security to help prevent spills,” Primark write of the cup on their website.
In the caption of the TikTok, they wrote: “Giant cup just dropped in store!
“New in Primark Home at Meadowhall.
“Holds up to 1.8Litres and keeps your drinks hot or cold”.
They also revealed in a comment that the cups are “£10”.
People were quick to weigh in on the new arrival, with one writing: “Got mine today!”
“Get over there and get me one immediately,” another said.
“Can someone please get me one of those I will cover all cost & postage?” a third pleaded.
“We need this in actual leopard print and hot pink,” someone else said.
Primark are known for their impressive dupes, and seem to be outdoing themselves recently on the shoe front.
In a recent TikTok, they shared a look at their brand new ballerina pumps.
They’re not just any slip-on shoes though, they’re dupes for French fashion house Alaïa’s pricey pumps.
The fast fashion label’s Rita Ora Diamanté Ballet Flats, designed in collaboration with the How We Do singer, are dead ringers for Alaïa’s Strass Lambskin Ballet Flats.
The only difference is Primark’s shoes cost a cool £15, and the luxury ones cost £890.
They are available in a black or ‘light pink’ finish, with both hues embellished with sparkly diamantés.
Primark has also released dupes of Alaïa’s Fishnet Ballet Flats – which cost an eye-watering £650.
You can pick up the high-street versions for a cool £12 in either ‘camel’ or black.
