EASTER may have been and gone, but it turns out some hugely discounted chocolate treats could still be lingering in your local supermarket.

That’s if they haven’t all been snapped up by the likes of bargain hunters such as Amy, who couldn’t resist making the most of the mega reduced chocolate on the shelves of her local Asda.

Bargain hunters have praised the savvy shopper for her hugely discounted spot[/caption]

In fact, she was so delighted with her purchases that she rushed online to money-saving Facebook page Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls and shared a photo of the impressive fifteen bars of Mini Eggs chocolate she managed to get her hands on.

But rather than fork out the retail price, she paid just £1.50 each because they were slashed to just half price – a total steal!

So it’s little wonder she cleared the shelves.

Deciding note to gatekeep where she found the tasty chocolate bars, she penned: “Asda Gosforth.”

It wasn’t long before the post garnered attention, with many super impressed with Amy’s savvy ways.

“I would’ve bought about 10 of those Mini Egg bars,” wrote one, to which Amy replied: “They are mine – I bought 15, massive!”

A second commented: “OMG you’re my type of person.”

“You go girl, would never pay £3 for that,” a third penned.

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “Them Mini Egg bars I could eat for breakfast lunch and dinner daily! With a side of Mini Eggs here and there.”

A further added: “Should be at that price all the time supermarkets are so greedy hopefully soon get the hint but great find!”

And another chimed in: “Bargain!”

It comes after Fabulous previously told how another shopper named Tayler Jade West, from Basingstoke, near Reading, showed off the mega discounted frying pans and chocolates she nabbed from her local supermarket.

Posting her finds on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she told how she was doing her food shop when she stumbled across ”lots of reduced stuff.”

The eagle-eyed shopper revealed that amongst them were Lindt Lindor chocolates, Reese’s chocolate eggs, Cadbury Oreo white chocolate eggs, along with cooking essentials – all of which came to under £10.

Along with a five-piece pan set which had been slashed to under £5, she also found two frying pans that were reduced to £1 each.

Chuffed with her discounted goods, Tayler enthused: ”Popped to Asda for stuff for dinner and lots of reduced stuff coming out! Super happy.

”All Easter eggs £1, packs of the little eggs 60p, stock pot £1.90, frying pan £1, and the set £4.90!”
