How has Jon Rahm performed since joining LIV Golf?

2023 Masters champion Jon Rahm returns to Augusta this week under much different circumstances than when he arrived in Georgia a year ago.

For starters, he has a very important dinner to host in his honor. More importantly, he’s no longer a member of the PGA Tour, having defected to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf before the start of the 2024 season.

That means Rahm has played less golf by this point in the year than he normally would have. But perhaps more noteworthy is how he’s played on his new tour.

Well, after winning four events in 2023, Rahm is still searching for his first victory in 2024.

Here’s how he’s fared on the LIV circuit:

• Mayakoba: 3rd
• Las Vegas: 8th
• Jeddah: 5th
• Hong Kong: 14th
• Miami: 5th

Rahm’s victory drought aside, he ranks first in LIV with an average of 5.07 birdies per round and second in Greens In Regulation (74.81 percent).

That will keep him contending in just about any tournament. Whether or not he can become just the fourth golfer ever to repeat at The Masters remains to be seen.
