Real Madrid and Man City served up a game of the highest quality on Tuesday night, with both Josko Gvardiol and Fede Valverde’s goals deserving to win the match.
After Phil Foden had equalised for City, Gvardiol strode forward to score his first-ever goal for the club, taking a touch before bending a superb curling shot out of the reach of Andriy Lunin.
No sooner had they got their noses in front, however, than they were pegged back to 3-3 after the Uruguayan smashed home a wonderfully controlled volley.
