And a preview of the 2024 series has shown that one of them will impress the legendary Simon Cowell so much that even he will be disarmed enough to hit the Golden Buzzer.

ITV announced that viewers will be able to tune in to BGT on Saturday, April 20 at 7:30pm, running until 8:55pm.

It will air again the following day on Sunday 21 April at 7:40pm.

Simon CowellAmanda HoldenAlesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli are all expected to return as the panel of judges who decide whether a performance will make or break a contestant’s career.

Show hosts Ant and Dec will also be back with their usual antics, as well as the ability to send an act straight to the live semi final.

A sneak peak of the new series featured a handful of budding BGT champions, such as one person wearing an orange fish mask, as well as a couple sharing a quick moment of passion on stage in their excitment.

Another segment showed the Geordie presenter duo pressing their Golden Buzzer together – perhaps for one of the acts featured in the trailer.

Simon could also be seen leaning over to smash the Golden Buzzer with a smile at another point, much to Amanda’s shock.

Once a golden buzzer is pressed, the act gets an automatic place in the live semi-finals, competing for a chance to win a life changing £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.

This hints at a promising cast ready to surprise the British public with their secret talents.

Surprisingly, the Sun exclusively revealed that a large amount of the upcoming acts aren’t actually from the UK.

Out of the nine golden buzzer performers sent through, only four are native Brits.

A TV insider told us: “People know the show often features foreign acts – some of them are utterly brilliant and, in many cases, go on to win the contest.

“But it’s a surprise to think that the cream of the crop who are sent through on golden buzzers are often from other countries.”
