A BROW expert has the proof to back up her recommendation of a brow growth serum: She’s used it herself for years.

Maribeth Madron spoke to The U.S. Sun on how she keeps her brows looking full and refined.
She tackled everything from not being swayed by passing trends to what product actually works.

“The biggest mistakes with brows are usually a result of following the trends,” she said.
“Trends are fun and refreshing when it comes to fashion or makeup looks, but brows must work with your bone structure, feature size and be in harmony with your face.
“If you go too thick or thin or too dark or light it can pull focus and take away from your beauty.”
ALL IS NOT LOST
Madron also gave some advice for those who went a little too far with the hair-plucking methods — and what to do next.
“If your brows are too thin, the first step is to put down your tweezers or cancel your next wax or threading appointment,” she advised.
“Give your brows a few months to grow in and then consult with a professional whom you trust.
“They should be able to recommend a brow conditioner to encourage growth, possibly tint to create a fuller look, and teach you to apply product in a natural way to enhance your look.”
She also recommended her go-to product for revitalizing sparse eyebrows.

BEYOND REPAIR
Madron said that there are some eyebrow cases where re-growth may not be in the stars — but still offered a plan of action.
“Sometimes it is beyond hope,” she said. “If you’ve been removing a lot of brow for a long time, you may have permanent traction alopecia.
“That being said, go back to old photos and look at your brows before you touched them. Mother Nature usually gives us the brow we should have.
“If you had full brows to start, you have a good chance to have them again.
“If you have a petite face with fine features, a thinner brow will look better on you.”
She added not to fret, as some cosmetic solutions may return the look of a fuller brow.
“Products have really improved in the last decade so it is easy to enhance your brows or fill in gaps in a natural way.”
