Oklahoma County man convicted in connection to a 2022 deadly stabbing

				OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A jury convicted, Roosevelt Chapman, 53, of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. The jury has recommended a 40 year sentence.
In April 2022, Chapman was arrested for the murder of Thomas Jones.
Police were called to a home in the 300 block of S.W. 23rd St. on a disturbance call.
Upon arrival officers found Jones and a second man with stab wounds.
Both were taken to the hospital where Jones was pronounced dead.
The jury convicted Chapman with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon but not guilty of Murder in the First Degree.
Chapman's formal sentencing is set for June 10, 2024.
