Proctor had an uneven season but you still glimpsed his immense potential.
The latest player profile from the Duke Chronicle is of point guard Tyrese Proctor.
A 6-5 Australian, Proctor’s season was up and down, partly, but not entirely, because of an ankle injury that kept him out of action for some time and he also spent time in the concussion protocol.
Fortunately, Caleb Foster did a great job filling in but Proctor’s season was more erratic than anyone had anticipated.
His offense has been erratic, but Proctor’s defense has been tremendous as we saw against Houston in the NCAA tournament.
He’ll still need to work on offensive consistency and to get stronger, but he’ll be doing that at Duke: Proctor announced this week that he’ll be back next year for Duke.
