The 2024 NCAA men's ice hockey national championship is here after two exciting Frozen Four games earlier this week. If you're looking to tune in, we've got you covered, whether you have cable or are looking for a streaming alternative. Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about where to watch the men's NCAA ice hockey national championship.

The Frozen Four portion of the tournament took place on Thursday night. Denver narrowly won against Boston University 2-1 in overtime, and Boston College beat Michigan by a landslide 4-0. Now, Denver and BC will compete for the national title. If Denver wins, they'll be the first NCAA Division 1 men's hockey team to win 10 Championships. BC last won in 2012, so this could be their first title in over a decade.

Whether you're a diehard college hockey fan or just want to see which team will come out on top, you're in luck. Below, we've put together your best watch options for the championship.

Where to watch NCAA men's hockey championship in the US

The NCAA men's ice hockey national championship will air on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. ET in the US. It will also be available to stream on ESPN+ at the same time. ESPN+ subscriptions cost $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year.

If you don't have cable and would rather explore a live TV package, both Sling TV and Hulu + Live TV carry ESPN2. At $40 a month, Sling TV will be the cheaper option. You'll need to select the Sling Orange plan to get ESPN2. Hulu + Live TV subscriptions start at $76.99 a month. In addition to live TV channels like ESPN2, these bundles include access to ESPN+, Disney+, and regular Hulu.

How to watch NCAA men's hockey championship from anywhere

If you're going to be traveling outside of the US during the championship and still want to use your streaming services, you can try out a VPN (virtual private network). VPNs are easy ways to change the virtual location on your electronic devices so that you can access websites and apps that might not be available where you're vacationing. This suggestion is best for Americans who are simply out of the country at the moment since all of the streaming services we've recommended require US forms of payment.

Interested in learning more? Our go-to recommendation is ExpressVPN, which has a 30-day money-back guarantee. Check out our ExpressVPN review for more details on this user-friendly VPN, and keep reading to learn how to use it.
