On Saturday, the 34-year-old will look to add to his resume as he attempts to climb back to a lightweight title shot and a rematch with the man who took the title from him, Islam Makhachev.

One of the most hyped prospects in recent years, Tsarukyan is only 27 years old and already one of the best fighters in the world. Stepping in on short notice for his UFC debut, Tsarukyan impressed by having a competitive showing against Islam Makhachev. Since then, it’s been almost all Tsarukyan, who has gone 7-1 after his debut, and most recently knocked out Beneil Dariush in just 64 seconds this past December. Now Tsarukyan hopes to earn a second crack at the lightweight champion with a win on Saturday.
