Before the 18th Lok Sabha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the largest party in the ruling alliance, unveiled its highly anticipated manifesto, known as Sankalp Patra, on April 14. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and party President JP Nadda were present for the release. Among its pledges, the party commits to hosting the Olympics in India officially by 2036.
