Before the 18th Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the largest party in the ruling alliance, unveiled its highly anticipated manifesto, Sankalp Patra, on April 14. Among its extensive list of commitments, the party vowed to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) if re-elected after the upcoming General Elections.
